Your first step is the initial consultation

This is a fun and exciting visit. We’ll do a few quick and easy tests on your eyes and then show you our plan to restore your vision. You’ll meet with our technician for your tests and then directly with Dr. Qamar to review your measurements. He will clearly explain why you are or are not a likely candidate for LASIK and address your questions and concerns.  This is your chance to interview us, get all your questions answered and make sure you are comfortable at Q Vision. There is absolutely no obligation for this visit and you can come in wearing your contacts.

The next step is your complete LASIK exam

During your consultation, we look at the front of the eye. During your complete exam, we dilate your eyes, make sure everything is OK in back, and triple-check all of the key measurements used to program the laser. This is where we use the entire spectrum of our medical expertise to rule you out if anything out of the ordinary would make LASIK unsafe for you.

Then, at last, the day you've been dreaming about

On your procedure day, you are here about an hour and in the laser suite for around 15 minutes. You’ll need a driver. We’ll give you a happy pill to help you relax and once you get home you’ll take a wonderful nap. You should be seeing pretty well later in the evening and really great the next morning.
