The history of Q Vision dates back to 1996, the dawn of the laser vision correction era, when Lanny B. Hale, M.D. and J. Charles Casebeer, M.D. brought the first vision correction laser to Scottsdale. The two practiced together as Casebeer-Hale International Eye Center for several years until Dr. Casebeer left to pursue teaching and business interests and Dr. Hale changed the name of the practice to Hale Vision Correction Center.
Tariq Qamar, M.D. joined the practice in 2001, and in 2003 a formal partnership was established and the practice was renamed Hale-Qamar Cataract and LASIK Center. This name remained in place until Dr. Hale returned home to Wisconsin in 2008, and a desire for simplification led to the name Q Vision.
Over the last 25 years, Q Vision has earned a reputation as a top facility for Phoenix LASIK patients to visit for renewed, clear vision.
